Fiberglass Chopped Strand Mat is an unwoven consisting of randomly distributed chopped strands held together with a powder or emulsion binder.

Chopped strand mat is compatible with unsaturated polyester, vinyl ester, epoxy and phenolic resins. The products are widely used in hand lay-up process and can also be used in filament winding, compressing molding and continuous laminating processes. The typical end-use applications including various panels, tank, boats, FRP roofing sheet, Auto roof, bathroom equipment and cooling tower, etc.

Packing

Product is made in form of a roll wrapped on a paper tube, then packed in a plastic bag and then placed within a cardboard carton. Rolls can also be loaded in container directly or with pallets.

Storage

Chopped strand mat should be stored in dry, cool, clean and rainproof area. Recommend temperature is 15-30, and relative humidity 40%-70%.
