Fiberglass Direct Roving is produced by directly winding a certain number of individual fibers from the bushing without twist. It is coated with silane based size and is designed for reinforcing unsaturated polyester, epoxy, vinyl ester and phenolic resins.

It is specially designed as reinforcement for GRP/FRP pipes, Pressure vessels, gratings and profiles, and when converted into woven roving, for boats and chemical storage tanks.

Product Features

Excellent integrity and ribbonization, fast and complete wet out in resins, excellent humidity resistance, no fuzz and excellent mechanical properties.

Packing

Direct Roving can be packed in small cardboard boxes or on pallets.

In case of palletizing, each package is wrapped with a shrinking plastic film. Each pallet contains three or four layers with 16 packages per layer (totally 48 or 64 package per pallet). All pallets are stretch wrapped or strapped. The way of splicing depends on customers’ request.

Storage

This Product should be stored in dry, cool, clean and rain-proof area. Recommended temperature range of storage is between 10℃-30℃ and relative humidity between 40%-70%,
